Hi, I’m Chris. I started Zaviro in 2022.
Before this I spent years in business operations, and I was expected to know everything. How the business ran, what was happening on every project, my own job and everybody else’s. When you’re the one making the decisions, all of that ends up sitting with you, and keeping it all straight is unbelievably time consuming. It’s a very inefficient way to operate, and that was a small company. I couldn’t help but think how much this problem compounds as companies scale.
Then I got into building software and it was the same problem again. AI was just poking its head out around then, and I used it a lot, but it never had the context. It didn’t know the business or what the rest of the team was doing. I watched people get very smart with their workflows to get around the limited memory, but it always meant starting from scratch, and none of it was fixing the actual problem. Business memory is a mess, almost everywhere. It’s been that way for so long that most people don’t even know it can be solved. I bet on Zaviro being able to solve it, and on it getting better the whole time.
Back in 2022 I didn’t see it coming this far, with this much technology behind it. It’s been a lot of problem solving and I’m very proud of where we are. I know it can get so much better, and I can’t wait for that.
Thanks for reading.
